Dubai
Dubai is a city of sky scrapers, ports and beaches with a hot climate all year round, noticeably known for luxury shopping, modern architecture and a lively nightlife. The coldest month is typically January, while it’s hottest month tends to be July. Dubai is also the proud owner of the world’s tallest building – The Burj Khalifa – which stands at 163 stories high at a height of 829.8m (2,722 ft) and can be seen from an astounding 95km away.
For tourists, Dubai has plenty to offer, whether that’s family fun or couples you can experience unique events and embed yourself within Dubai’s culture – young or old. Kite surf and leading water sports activities located in the Jumeirah Beach region are perfect to test your skills as a family. In addition Dubai has a number of theme parks, ranging from the Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, Motiongate, Aventura Park, Legoland Dubai, Wild Wadi Water Park, Dubai Safari Park, Bollywood Parks meaning there is a vast amount of experiences for all ages.
Known for its luxury, extravagance and various business sectors shoppers can also spend the entire day browsing malls, boutiques or souks, should the active scene not suit you, while there is always the option to visit one of Dubai’s many beaches which of course, includes the world famous Palm Jumeirah.
Whatever you choose to do, it’s safe to say Dubai has plenty to offer and is very much worth a visit!
New York
Ranging from Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge or where the World Trade Centers’ once stood New York is certainly one of the best cities in the world, certainly on the must see list. Rated as one of the greatest cities on Earth, New York has a range of tourist attractions to enjoy, as well as one of the most picturesque skylines there is to see. Whatever the time of day or night, New York is the city which never sleeps, meaning there is always something to do!
Barcelona
Located within Spain’s Catalonia region, Barcelona is known for its art and architecture. Top of this list has to be the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia which although unfinished due to the Spanish Civil War, is a beautiful piece of architecture. Moving away from architecture, arguably Barcelona’s most famous street is La Rambla which is the home to many interesting shops, restaurants and buildings, while there is also a collection of street performers which you can watch while enjoying some tapas. For the football fans, Barcelona is also the home of FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou, which can be argued is one of the most successful clubs of recent times.
If you’ve never been, Barcelona is certainly a destination to visit and enjoy!
Rome
Filled with history and Christianity, Rome has a number of landmarks which are astounding to see in person. The Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, located in the centre of the city is the largest ancient amphitheater ever built, dating back 2,000 years. Engulfed with history and religion, other famous landmarks include the Vatican City, The Pantheon and of course the Trevi Fountain. That said, visiting so much history will surely make you hungry, therefore be sure to enjoy some of Rome’s must try foods such as the Rigatoni Carbonara or the Pizza al Taglio, with a glass of red wine.
Dublin
Famous for it’s charming hospitality Dublin is a brilliant city to visit. A lot of the city can be explored on foot including Trinity College, Grafton Street, the Spire of Dublin and St. Stephen’s Green. If you find the ‘luck of the Irish’ on your side, then why not head over to the world famous Temple Bar for a pint of Guiness. Sticking with Guiness, the Guiness Storehouse Factory is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland, with the interior designed to look identical to a pint of Guiness. No matter what you choose to do, Dublin is a welcoming and incredible friendly city, meaning you’ll have a fabulous time.
